Danny was fantastic to deal with from the moment he arrived to attend to the gas leak issue with the Transtherm Ermitage Manor single zone wine fridge. He replaced the metal pipe that was broken with quality European copper pipe that is thicker than the Chinese made one inside Vintec units. It was topped up with gas and a super seal was put on there to prevent any further leaks. His attention to detail was first class to begin with in identifying the problem.

Wouldn’t give price for re gas was more interested in Going to site charging you $200 then repairs are on top. We asked a simple question. How much to re-gas fridge you could not answer. Fridge died, contact him and booked appointment, then he texted me a few questions, the followed with quote and then advised that I should consider buying a new fridge, which we did. I called Fridges R US after spending over half an hour trying to make an online appointment with Fisher & Paykel as well as trying their 1300 phone number with lengthy recorded questionnaire.Within 2 hours of calling SIa and Danny arrived at my apartment quickly diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in a short period even though it was a major repair.I can’t recommend them highly enough .Extremely professional and an excellent service. Five out of five.

We logged a service call and were very surprised to get a prompt response. After making an appointment, two technicians , Danny and Sia, turned up on time, after sending a message advising that they were on their way. They examined our 20(+) year old fridge, diagnosed the exact issue, advised us that they had a replacement part in their van and gave us a quote to rectify the fault.We agreed to the quote and they competently and efficiently replaced the faulty part. All with a smile and with a friendly attitude.Twenty minutes after leaving our house they returned and advised us that we had mistakenly overpaid them. They cheerfully gave us back the overpaid cash amount (which we hadn’t even noticed) and went onto their next job.As per their advice, it took about 12 hours for the fridge to ‘re-set’ itself and reach the right temperature.The repairs were undertaken 2 months ago and our fridge continues to perform just like a new one!!We had a great experience using Fridges R Us and would gladly recommend this company to anyone who asks.
